Emily Biehler, CFP®, CEPA®
Co-Founder & Financial Planner
Emily and her husband, Corbin, have lived in Colorado since 2012. They live in Golden with their two Daughter’s, Maren & Arlo . The Biehlers enjoy exploring Colorado with the girls and their dog, Sable.
Emily has a bachelor’s degree in International Business and Spanish from Texas Tech University. Emily went on to obtain a master’s degree in Personal Financial Planning from Texas Tech University. Before graduating, Emily passed the Certified Financial Planner™ exam.
Emily has focused her professional work on financial planning since the beginning. Emily finds passion in helping real people improve their relationship with money and their overall outcome in life. Founding TFP allows her to practice this passion fully and comprehensively serve those individuals and businesses across the country.
Entrepreneurship runs in Emily’s family. Her husband, Corbin, founded his own business in 2018. And growing up, Emily watched as her dad successfully ran his own dental laboratory in Texas for over 43 years.
A Fun Fact about Emily: She met her husband when they were twelve years old.
Nick Rose, CFP®, CEPA®
Co-Founder & Financial Planner
Nick grew up in Colorado and always believed he would return to west Denver at some point. He now lives in Arvada with his wife, Caroline and their two daughters, Olivia & Esme along with their Dog, Lona.
Nick obtained a bachelor’s degree from Colorado College and went on to earn his master’s degree from the University of Derby in the United Kingdom.
Upon returning to the United States, Nick turned his attention to personal financial planning and completed the financial planning curriculum from Bryant University before passing the Certified Financial Planner™ exam.
Professionally, Nick has worked within all facets of the financial services industry from insurance to investment management to business planning. The founding of TFP allows him to put all of these facets together in a comprehensive package that addresses the holistic needs of individuals and families.
A fun fact about Nick: He played professional basketball in Europe and also competed against the Harlem Globetrotters as a member of the Washington Generals.
Yizeth Almemar, CFP®
Co-Owner & Director of Financial Planning
Yizeth (pronounced, ‘G-set’) was born and raised in Bogota, Colombia. In 2012, Yizeth came to the United States with an Au Pair program not knowing that she would meet the love of her life and move to Colorado for good in 2014. She and her husband, Hoshang, and their Daughter, Sophia now live in Thronton, Colorado and enjoy traveling to be with friends and family, all over.
Yizeth obtained a bachelor’s degree in International Business at the Politecnico Grancolombiano University in Bogota and went on to complete the curriculum at Bryant University for the Certified Financial Planner™ designation.
During her professional career, Yizeth has seen that a successful financial plan can positively impact a person’s sense of peace, security, and their general quality of life. This experience has inspired her to help individuals, families, and business owners attain confidence in their finances. She finds passion in engaging and educating as many people as possible to give them the knowledge and power to take control of their financial future.
A fun fact about Yizeth: She is trained in the martial arts of Krav Maga.
Sarah Grayer, CFP®
Lead of Operations
Sarah and her husband, Justin, and two kids, Olivia and Silas, found home in Arvada at the end of 2024 after relocating from NW of Chicago. Sarah loves spending time with her family and family dog visiting parks and trails, reading, and never misses her weekend yoga.
Sarah has a bachelor’s degree in Personal Financial Planning from the University of Missouri and obtained her Certified Financial Planner certification in 2016.
Sarah has worked in the financial services industry since 2012 in a range of environments, including RIA firms and large broker dealers. Knowledgeable in all things operations, she treats clients like she would a family member, and prizes anticipating future needs and being proactive to help keep things moving forward.
A fun fact about Sarah: She has an Associate’s degree in Commercial Photography from Santa Monica College, and for a couple years toted an old-school large format camera around campus, Los Angeles, and California to take beautiful photos in the wonderful medium of film!
Sean McKee
Client Service Associate
Sean and his wife, Alyssa, moved from Pennsylvania to Colorado in late 2024 to embrace the outdoor lifestyle that Colorado brings and reunite with friends and family in the area. They now reside in Superior with their cat, Rhea, who loves to go on camping trips with them in their camper. Sean loves having game nights with family and friends, going for runs, and using travel rewards to explore the world with Alyssa.
Sean has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from King’s College in Pennsylvania, where he also received a minor in Mathematics. After working for 8 years in the software engineering field, Sean made the pivot to his true calling in personal finance.
He is currently enrolled in the Bryant University Certified Financial Planner™ coursework and plans to sit for the Certified Financial Planner™ exam during the second half 2026.
A fun fact about Sean: With their love for travel, Sean and Alyssa have a goal of exploring all the U.S. National Parks. They have currently visited 31 out of the 64 parks.
